Where the boundary lives
Premium Claims Preparation
What Evident is — and what it isn't.
Veterans deserve a tool that respects their intelligence and the regulated space they're operating in. We're explicit about the boundary because clarity protects you. Read this before signing up.
Evident IS
- A premium claims-preparation workspace.Built for one veteran at a time, regulated-language-first, evidence-anchored.
- A reader for your C-file.OCR, deterministic nexus scan, and Claude Sonnet 4.6 evidence assessment turn scanned VA records into structured, citable insights.
- A drafter — never a finisher.Personal Statement wizard, Nexus Letter and DBQ generators, all stamped as DRAFTs requiring veteran or clinician review and signature.
- A decision-support layer.Rating Level Analyzer, Claim Strategy (Sequencer + RO Scorecard + Appeal Path Picker), Effective-Date Optimizer — deterministic and auditable.
- Your evidence binder, organized.Claims-Ready PDF + ZIP your accredited representative can pick up and run with.
Evident is NOT
- Not a law firm.Evident does not provide legal advice. We do not represent veterans before the VA. We do not file claims. We organize evidence and produce drafts your accredited representative can build on.
- Not a medical practice.Evident does not diagnose, treat, or write opinions in our own voice. Every Nexus Letter and DBQ pre-fill ships as a DRAFT for an appropriately credentialed clinician to review, modify, and sign.
- Not a guarantee of any rating or outcome.Every estimate carries its assumptions inline. The VA, not Evident, decides every claim. Our role is preparation; we cannot make the VA grant anything.
- Not an automated filing service.Evident never submits anything to VA.gov on your behalf. You or your VA-accredited representative file. We hand you the binder; the file button is yours.
- Not a replacement for your VSO, attorney, or Agent Orange Registry coordinator. The human network around you — VFW, DAV, AMVETS, accredited attorney, primary care provider, mental health clinician — is always upstream of what Evident does. We're a tool that makes the rest of that network more effective.
- Not an LLM-generated letter mill.Real nexus letters need date-anchored citations, peer-reviewed mechanism, and a real clinician's signature. Evident refuses to draft when evidence is thin, marks every paragraph that requires provider input, and shows the citation behind every claim. We're built to fail safely, not to produce convincing-looking nonsense.
- Not a community or forum.Evident is a private workspace, one veteran at a time. We do not crowdsource advice from other veterans. We do not surface other veterans' files to you. Your evidence belongs only to you.
- Not a subscription trap.Single payment per tier ($99 / $249 / $499). Nexus and DBQ are also available à la carte ($49 / $59). No auto-renewal, no per-claim fees, no upsells inside the product.
If you need to file a claim today, talk to a VA-accredited representative first.
VFW, DAV, AMVETS, your state Department of Veterans Affairs, and VA-accredited attorneys all offer free or low-cost representation. Evident makes them more effective — but they remain upstream of every file action.
